Artist submission: Ash Lethal

Ashleigh Fedo from Ash Lethal likes our modern art blog and we couldn’t be more honored to feature the works of this young American artist. Born in sunny Palm Beach, Florida, Ashleigh is a self-taught illustrator with a keen interest in music and a big love for animals (she is a SPCA volunteer). She began her artist career in April 2007 and since then she added in her portfolio notable group and solo art shows around Atlanta and at the Hive Gallery in L.A. as well as great artwork for music album covers, band t-shirts prints, advertising logos and other design projects.

A sarcastic touch

From politics to philosophy, or simple life-scenes, Daniel Mackie recreates reality with a good touch of sarcasm and also by mixing free-hand drawing (with a 2B pencil) and water coloring with digital illustration using Photoshop.

Artistically illustrated movie posters

Justin Reed is a 29 year old artist from Vermont who is deeply inspired by pop culture, particularly with motion pictures but also by musicians and TV shows. His works, mostly acrylic on canvas, reveal a unique mix of painting, caricature and theme poster depicting cult movies like Hollywood golden classics, Fight Club, Pulp Fiction or Christopher Nolan’s much appreciated The Dark Knight. The posters tell the story with a single image or portray the icons of a cinematic era such as Hitchcock‘s tormented characters or 80’s action movie heroes.
